But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles,   They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31  NKJ)

"Heavenly Father, have mercy on me, a sinner. I believe in you and that your word is true. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God and that he died on the cross and rose again by the power of the Holy Ghost, and sits at the right hand of the Father. I believe that Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood so that I may now have forgiveness for my sins and eternal life”

“Please Jesus, forgive me, for every sin I have ever committed or done in my heart, please Lord Jesus forgive me and come into my heart as my personal Lord and Savior today. I need you to be my Father and my friend.”

“I know that without you in my heart my life is meaningless and I now choose to surrender my mind, my heart, my body and soul to you.  I give you my life and ask you to take full control from this moment on.”

“Father God, your Word says that you’ll turn no one away and that includes me.  Therefore I know that you have heard me, that you love me, that you’ve answered me and I know that I am saved.  Thank you Lord Jesus for saving my soul and may my life bring glory onto you.  I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen"

Now raise your hands and thank Him, Praise the Lord for saving you, open your heart and receive the lift-giving Spirit of God.  Pursue His heart and run fast to Him until it become habit, until He shows His heart for you in manifest ways that you cannot explain and give him the glory for all that He brings.

“BUT...what about Baptism?”

Baptism represents the believer following Christ into His death, burial, and resurrection. The symbolism is perfect and filled with deep meaning.

In baptism the eyes are closed, hands are folded, and breath is suspended as in death (can’t breath in water, right?)  Then comes burial in the water and resurrection from the watery grave to a new life in Christ. When raised from the water, the eyes open and the candidate begins breathing again —a complete likeness of resurrection.

The great difference between God's people and every other religion is simply the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. In these three acts is made possible all that God desires to do for us. Only immersion fulfills the meaning of Romans 6:4-6:

"Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of His death, we shall be also in the likeness of His resurrection: knowing this, that our old man is crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin."

You may not belong to a church now or have means of being baptized but it is something that you need to be prayerful about as far as timing and where it can happen.

Here is another great article on the question of Baptism.
