But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with
wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

“The Lord heals, He heals completely and it doesn’t take years. By His power, grace and mercy YOU can find your total healing and freedom in Christ Jesus – sometimes you just need a bit of help. Kim West has a heart to see people delivered and set free and has helped hundreds do so. She has a Master of Divinity and a PhD in Clinical Counseling but, more importantly, she is one who has personally experienced her own healing and freedom from the Lord. She understands what you are going through AND knows how to get you through it in Christ. “

Power in Prayer
The supernatural Release of Power through Prayer.
Receive the Blessings:
In order to receive blessings from God, we must ASK.
Prayer and faith (trusting God to answer, not questioning, second guessing or wondering,
something we don't always “feel” but we CAN thankfully tell Him that we are trusting
Him, even if that means saying so out loud until we believe it) are the keys to unlocking
the vast storehouse of blessings that the Lord has prepared for us since the world
Regular daily prayer time with the Lord empowers you to be spiritually attuned to
hear and understand the His small (or at times LOUD) voice. The more you go to him
and practice listening, the more you will hear.
The Riches and rewards of the blessings that come from sincere prayer are far more
extensive than we could possibly imagine with our limited understanding.
Adversities are frequently meant to humble us and permit the lord to bring about
change in our lives, to serve Him even more, so remember that He loves you more than
you can imagine, that He has great things for you and when facing these times of
trials, turn immediately and ask Him what He wants you to see. He will not lift
anything off of your life unless it has accomplished the purpose for which it was
Consistent prayer insulates us from deceptive seduction by the enemy and draws us
within the protective and directive care of our Heavenly Father. STAY CLOSE TO “DADDY”
for more “covering”.
7) Jesus Christ, your Savior and Redeemer, will respond readily to the pleadings
of a broken and contrite spirit. He will extend His great storehouse of grace which
is bottomless and shower you with forgiving relief, comfort and hope, through the
matchless gift of His atoning sacrifice that washes clean and sanctifies the repentant

“Power Tools” - Take notes on the following steps to receive blessings. Create a
prayer time and diary of what the Lord says to you during this time.
You've heard it said that the smaller we become, the greater He becomes and
this is one area that we have to humble ourselves, look around at our life and ask
ourselves how much MORE do we really want...and how much we are going to sacrifice
to get it. (“In His Presence #1 – There's So MUCH MORE” teaches you how to draw in
and how to find that doorway into His presence.)
If you're unsure of God's heart towards you and His willingness to give you
healing...and to what degree, check out “Healing Promises” and claim them, recall
these promises and stand on them. (“Power Tools” for Life’s Situations is also a
helpful guide to claiming power into your all areas of your life). Find a few that
seem to speak to you, write them down and claim them out loud until they flow through
your mind consistently.
MOST OF ALL, seek His face, learn what it takes to “abide” in Him and strive
to get as close as you can through praise, prayer & listening. It is virtually impossible
to entertain unclean thoughts and pursue immoral acts when on one’s knees praying
in the presence of God...so let Him change you also as you yield to Him.
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of
God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle
is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities,
against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in
the heavenly realms. (Ephesians 6:10-12)
So, how much do you need help in your life? How much healing do you need or
desire? There IS a sacrifice to praise & prayer: your time. Only you can decide how
much you want. Most of our circumstances in life are to show us a NEED for more
of Him, for more of the Lord's presence, His power, his love, His encouragement,
His wisdom, His strength, MORE, MORE, MORE we need of Him the more we look around
and truly acknowledge that we do not have power over much.
“And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith." (Matthew
That lamp on your desk cannot light up without power and it also cannot use that
power without a connection cord. Prayer is our “connection cord” to the ultimate
source of all power. Prayers are our link to God, and there is no time lapse in the
communication with Him. Our prayers travel faster than the speed of light, in fact,
He knows what we say before we say it. He knows our deepest desires, our thoughts,
our bents, our goals and our 'plans'.
We just have to remember that HE HAS PLANS FOR US AS WELL.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace,
and not of evil, to give you an expected end. (Jeremiah 29:11)
You have to be willing to let go of all preconceived notions about yourself,
your life and what you're to do in it if you're going to obey the will of the Lord
our God. If you want to toss His will and plans aside and go your own way, to quote
a TV celebrity; “How's that working for you so far”.
Pray without ceasing.
Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks, for this is the
will of God in Christ Jesus toward you. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
To pray “without ceasing is a continuous action. How do we do that? We cannot
always be on our knees, as the demands of the day prevent such a concept Most of
us are lucky if we can find even a few minutes of privacy to get on our knees in
the first place. But can we rejoice, give thanks, whisper or consider the Lord throughout
the day in silent prayers? The more you do, the better life will go for you.
Maintaining a healthy relationship requires communication so always be “on
line” with God so when the Spirit moves you to pray, you can instantly agree with
In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to
pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings
which can't be uttered. (Romans 8:26)
I find it a huge comfort that I do not have to have all the “correct” words,
as most of the time, I don't even know what to say! Thankfully so, the Holy spirit
intercedes on our behalf and when in agreement with the Spirit, we ARE praying continuously.
Have an ever-open heart to the Lord's prompting and leading and in this way, you
CAN pray continuously.
But to us, God revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all
things, yes, the deep things of God. For who among men knows the things of a man,
except the spirit of the man, which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of
God, except God's Spirit. (1 Corinthians 2:10-11)
More prayers = LESS problems,
less prayer = MORE problems
IF you want wisdom at all times, hook up to God at all times.
However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth,
for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will
declare to you things that are coming. (John 16:13)
If we find a way to pray during our waking hours--even while driving, changing
the baby, washing dishes, taking a shower, eating breakfast, cutting the lawn—we
can be open to the Lord's leading through His Holy Spirit as He urges us to intercede
for someone or for something. To come into agreement with God over our lives, over
His word or His will, is to release even more power into our life and situations.

Prayer releases power!
Prayer releases power into any situation and changes it for the better when
aligned with God's will for your life. His power is tremendous and great enough
to change an individual's life, to change hearts and situations, and nothing is too
big for Him to handle.
Prayer releases power, and God’s power comes in the person of the Holy Spirit.
God has promised that after the conversion of the Jews, he will pour out his Holy
Spirit in a powerful way so that the Kingdom may be established (Joel 2:28,29,32).
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. He is the Spirit of God, so there
is no limit to his power. There is no limit to what the church can do, when it moves
in the Spirit’s power.
