A Handy “power tool” to pull out at a moment’s notice when there is a “hint of its need.
But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31 NKJ)

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and
you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers. (3 John 1:2)
Pain is pain... addiction is addiction ...grief is grief...it all has the same devastation on our lives...and it also has the same solution and answer. Jesus offers healing and freedom for ALL! The only difference between issues of pain and heartache is the degree to which it affects the body (like chemical addictions of different kinds) but Jesus can supernaturally heal that also!
For the Kingdom of God is not in word, but in power. (1 Corinthians 4:20)
God's word I”God Breathed” (2 Timothy 3:16) and “profitable for doctrine, for
reproof, for correction and instruction in righteousness”. His Holy word is our
our “manual for life” and all answers and truth is in there. Our Heavenly Father
is so serious about this truth that it says he will “add onto him the plagues that
are written” in it should anyone who “hearth the words of prophecy” in His word and
ADD to His word. He also said that those who take away from His word, He will take
out their part in the book of life (Deuteronomy 12:32 & Revelation 22:18-
So as we take God’s word seriously and for all teaching, we also will see that Jesus never offered other solutions other than himself and His love, power, grace and mercy, for ALL pain and heartache. He never directed us to create therapy programs or special centers for things such as alcoholism, drugs or such.
He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. (2 Corinthians 12:9)
The Healing Source may offer different topics & sections as starting points,
so that we may help to identify struggles, strongholds and areas of bondage, but
these are starting points which will ALL lead to the freedom found in the power,
blood and name of Jesus Christ -
But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5)
Where is TRUE FREEDOM found?
No matter what issue you have or which area causes you pain area, God’s word
has 1 answer is for the restoration and healing off all:Jesus. NO matter what causes
us to run to substances for escape, or to numb the pain, hide, shut down, withdraw
or enter into sin, He is able to take it ALL.. He offers to take it ALL off of you
while groups such as secular support groups ( any therapy, counseling, program, steps,
etc, ) can not offer true deliverance or lasting freedom. They may help, they will
not bring total lasting freedom. It is all “self-
What is NOT “Freedom”?
Most of these groups have people coming for YEARS, many times going over the same issues and concerns again, and again, and again. There is no “total freedom” promised or achieved. I'm not saying that the leaders of such programs don't care about helping others. I know leaders of such groups and I’ve been a part of such groups in my early years, and while they may bring comfort in helping you see things that you've not realized before, or make you feel as if you an ally in the battle, they can not offer the same power that holds the sun at the proper distance away from the earth so as to not freeze us or burn us up (which is a small margin).
Who does GOD say you are?
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. (Genesis 1:27) And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. (Genesis 1:31)
If we were to focus on these specific issues for any length of time, our focus would be back onto ourselves and not on the TRUE power for healing. We would be going backward again and again, into a place where the enemy lives; confusion and heartache. This takes all focus off Christ or where He is leading and pouring out, and puts you in dangerous territory. This is the enemy's territory and once you learn who REALLY are: as royalty and heirs, princes and princesses in the kingdom of God, with access to the same power and resources that the Lord Jesus has through Father God, you will not claim anything else over your life such as the term “alcoholic” or “addict”.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:10)
These labels mentioned above are NOT who the Father says you are! They are from the pit of hell: shackles of bondage and strongholds, and are not indicative of your value to the one who loves you beyond measure. Jesus promises total freedom IN HIM. Jesus is the one who has known you since the beginning of the world, knows what you are destined to, knows your gifts and callings, and has the power to see it through to completion
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: (Philippians 1:6)
He counts EVERY TEAR!
Tear bottles were prevalent in ancient Roman times, when mourners filled small glass or ceramic vials with tears and placed them in burial tombs as symbols of love and respect. In the Victorian period of the 19th century, mourners would collect their tears in bottles ornately decorated with silver and pewter. The mourning period would end when the tears evaporated from the bottle. In some American Civil War stories, women were said to have cried into tear bottles and saved them until their husbands returned. Their collected tears would show the men how much they were loved and missed.
In the Psalm 56:8, during a very distressful time in David's life when he had
been wrongly accused and found himself to be a fugitive in his own country, David
holds to the belief that God keeps a record of human pain and suffering and always
remembers our sorrows and tears: "You have seen me tossing and turning through the
night" , you have collected all my tears and preserved them in your bottle! You have
recorded everyone in your book." (God's book of remembrance, that was written for
those "who thought upon his name" -
He does not take your heartaches lightly!
Our tears are precious enough to God to be kept in a bottle-
Dear heart, please remember that as you consider all that the Lord is going to ask of you, remember that He loves you without measure, that He has counted every tear, and has been with you during all of those dark moments, terrible situations and unspeakable tragedies. Jesus is the one who will never leave your side, who offers blessings just for asking, with truths and promises of TOTAL FREEDOM and HEALING for all time.
ABUNDANT LIFE is ours!
We have FREEDOM because of Jesus and that proclaimed freedom is ours NOW! Jesus came
to SET THE CAPTIVES FREE! (OK, now look at two of my favorite verses, BOTH numbered
Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth will I cry unto
thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For
thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy. (Psalm 61:1-
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; (Isaiah 61:1)
Isn’t that cool? WRITE IT DOWN! Yeah, keep it and go over it again and again to remind yourself of that He is your “higher place”, a shelter and strong tower away from the enemy and that we have the promise of liberty, freedom and healing!
The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly. (John 10:10)
It is HIS DESIRE for you to be free from ANY bondage, from ANY slavery, whether it be in your heart, your mind, your soul or physically. He does not differentiate or offer varying solutions to pain depending on the situation. Pain is Pain. The heartache in grief over loss feels much the same as heartache from any other suffering. There are some things we cannot control and there are some things that we can but in ALL circumstances, He is still sufficient, His power available and His promise of healing.
We have choices.
Jesus told a woman who committed adultery and who was brought before him by the Pharisees: “Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared, “Go now and leave your life of sin.” this states very clearly that 1) Jesus does NOT condemn us for our sinful behaviors and 2) that we CAN LEAVE a life of sin, repent, renounce our sin and CHOOSE to not continue in it. If our trials are because of our own actions (sin), then it's easy to get that off of our back and renounce that sin. We have the power in Christ to TURN from sin and if we will abide In Him, we won't be tempted beyond what we can handle.
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful,
who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation
also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”
(1 Corinthians 10:13)
There are many references in scripture to reaping and sowing. It’s as simple as planting a crop relating to the seed you plant. If we sow to good, good will come but if we sow to bad, well, you know what happens. We have a choice as to what we want to sow to, ( just remember that if we’ve sown to bad, and turn to the Lord, it may take a while to pull up all the ‘weeds’ to that bad crop). You’re not going to be tempted beyond what is common to us all, and the Lord DOES provide a way out. If we know what we’re doing is wrong, all we have to do is repent and renounce that, yield that ground over to the Lord Jesus Christ and start walking a right path.
The enemy has no power over us through Christ Jesus!
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (James 4:7)
“Nevertheless I am continually with thee.” –(Psalm 73:23)
He will walk out those trials and bring us out of it. We just have to “STAND”, “resist the enemy” and submit to the Lord and He will protect us. We just have to stop sowing the bad harvest but know that it will take time for that bad harvest to come to crop and then we have to pick that crop to get rid of it.
If your pain comes out of loss, whether it be a relationship or job, etc, He can take that and heal it also. There is NO reason that we go on for years mourning and in grief no matter what it is over. It’s not His desire for us, not His best for us, and not healthy for those around us. Your pain WILL affect others no matter how much you try to hide it. The Lord can restore and take the “bitter” out of “bittersweet” too. Nothing is too big for Him to carry.
He will lead you beside still waters.
In Ezekiel 34:4 Jesus gives serious warnings and says WOE to the Shepherds of Israel for they “have not healed those who were sick, nor bound up those who were broken”. This is serious! It is HIS DESIRE to heal! Take it ALL to Him, ALL of your anger or frustration, your unknown hurts that cause you to react in ways you don't want to; all of your pain and suffering, all of your consequences too, ...chemical imbalances due to alcohol chemicals. HE CAN HEAL THAT! “How bad do you want it” is the question to ask... but He can take it, change it, heal it and give His power and strength into it.
My favorite part in Ezekiel 34:4 is when the Lord promises to seek us out, deliver us, feed us, seek what was lost, bind that which was broken and strengthen that which was sick:
For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek
them out. As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep
that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all
places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day. And I will bring
them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them
to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and
in all the inhabited places of the country. I will feed them in a good pasture, and
upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a
good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel. I will
feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord GOD. I will seek
that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up
that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy
the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment. (Ezekiel 34:11-
You WILL have hard times
As you face “pain pockets”, you WILL face hurts and pains that you may have buried but the Lord will walk through this with you. There is pain that He will heal “in an instant” and you may not even know what He did other than the feeling of peace and joy that you didn't have before.
There may be painful memories that are buried because of a lie of the enemy over you or your life and surrendering them to the Lord will be painful but only in the cutting off of something that has been a part of you. DO NOT FEAR, He will be with you, his Rod and His staff will comfort you (Psalm 23:4) and He will provide all the strength you need to face whatever it is that He has for you.
Yahweh is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him. (Psalm 28:7)
if my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)
As long as we reside on this earth, we WILL face trials but the more we learn to abide in Christ, the more in Love we will be and crave His presence even more.
Beloved, don't be astonished at the fiery trial which has come upon you, to test
you, as though a strange thing happened to you. But because you are partakers of
Christ's sufferings, rejoice; that at the revelation of his glory you also may rejoice
with exceeding joy. (1 Peter 4:12-
If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and remain in his love. (John 15:10)
Do not resist what He brings your way but continue to seek His face, confirming your trust in Him and trusting that He has a purpose in all things. I would rather be at peace “in the midst” of great trials than be stressed with little going on. That peace is available and all we have to do is ask for it, but continue to praise as praise releases His power.
who by the power of God are guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed
in the last time. Wherein you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if
need be, you have been put to grief in various trials, that the proof of your faith,
which is more precious than gold that perishes even though it is tested by fire,
may be found to result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ-
The more we see His power, strength and love in our hearts, changing us from glory to glory, the faster we will “turn” to seek His face. The faster we will cry out “ABBA FATHER, HELP”, the faster we will receive comfort and help
Behold, God is my helper. The Lord is the one who sustains my soul. (Psalm 54:4)
Then shall mine enemies turn back in the day that I call: This I know, that God is for me. (Psalm 56:9)
Nevertheless I am continually with thee: Thou hast holden my right hand. (Psalm 73:23)
the faster we will bow our knee to His Royal thrown and then the faster He will answer and deliver His people.
Blessed is the man who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to those who love him. (James 1:12)
SO be encouraged for you are worth more than many sparrows.
But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows. (Luke 12:7)
He who began a good work in you will continue to completion.
As you go through the Healing Source, you will be changed from “glory to glory”
